First of all, sorry for the delay in getting this packet out. The packet is 16 pages long. We had to make sure that we provide essential information to participating clubs. See attachments below.

The 106th NWIRA Championship Regatta is only about 5 weeks away. It will be held at Lake Elmo in the City of Lake Elmo on August 21-22, 2009. This will be the 23rd time that the Minnesota Boat Club has hosted or co-hosted the championship regatta. For some long time rowers, Lake Elmo will be a familiar site as it was the rowing venue for the 73rd NWIRA Championship Regatta in 1976.

NWIRA association clubs are to use Regatta Master 2007, the Rowing Club and Regatta Management software from Regatta Master, to submit their entries for the 2009 NWIRA Championship Regatta. Visit their website, www.regattamaster.com, for more details. The Regatta Master file for the 2009 NWIRA Championship Regatta is attached to this email.

Guest clubs can submit their entries through Regatta Central, www.regattacentral.com.

All entries need to be submitted by 12:00 AM Central (Midnight) on August 7, 2009
Changes in names and scratches without fees will be allowed until 5:00 PM (Central) on August 14, 2009
Heat Draw and Event Schedule will be posted on August 18, 2009

You may use the attached 2009 NWIRA MS Excel Entry Worksheets file to prepare your entries and tabulate total club entry fees.

To ensure that information related to the 2009 NWIRA Championship Regatta is communicated to the appropriate contacts at your club, please complete the attached Club Information Form (2009 NWIRA Club Information Form.doc) and send it to the NWIRA Secretary, Charlie Stockwell, at stock041@umn.edu.
